About Phu Quoc Island
Phu Quoc is called a pearl and an evergreen island of Vietnam. Located in the Gulf of Thailand, 45km from HaTien city, 120km from Rach Gia by sea, Phu Quoc is an island district of Kien Giang province. This island is the largest one in Vietnam. View from above, Phu Quoc covers green colours, a variety of resplendent green colours that mix altogether, creating a splendid landscape.

Phu Quoc island boasts lush tropical forest and mountain zones. The island is perfect for tourists with its unspoiled beaches. With its rugged jungle, squeaking white sands and sparkling cobalt waters, Phu Quoc Island is definitely the ideal place for convalescence. There are also many activities to take advantage of including swimming, snorkeling and fishing and now Phu Quoc is considered one of the best beach resorts in Vietnam.

DUONG DONG: Duong Dong is the chief town of Phu Quoc and a big fishing port located on the central wast coast of the island. The Phu Quoc airport and most of the hotels on the island are located here.

SUOI TRANH (TRANH STREAM): It springs from Ham Ninh stone range, consists of many smaller streams which edge their way from the ravines through green grass carpets, and join the main current to become a big stream.

DA BAN STREAM: It is situated in the central south of the island, is murmuring down through the hills all year round, passing splendid and charming sceneries, with wild ginseng roots and beautiful orchids.

BAI SAO BEACH: the most beautiful beach on Phu Quoc island. It is famous for its white sand, which resembles powdered chalk. Sao Beach is situated on the south of Phu Quoc island, 25km from Duong Dong and 5km from An Thoi port.

Phu Quoc airport is in Duong To ward, about 7km to Duong Dong town.
Vietnam Airlines runs daily direct flights from Phu Quoc to Hanoi, Hochiminh city, Can Tho and four times a week to Rach Gia.
Duong Dong express hydrofoil runs between Phu Quoc and Ha Tien (1 hour 30 minutes) or Rach Gia (2 hours 30 minutes). It is quite comfortable.
